To renew online, Legionnaires will need their membership ID number. This 9-digit number is listed on your membership cards. It is also available on your American Legion magazine labels (it is the first 9 digits shown above your name).

If you have served a period of federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces since December 7, 1941, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving - you are eligible for membership in The American Legion!

Neighbors: Auxiliary Membership

Spouses, family members, and direct and adopted descendants of all men and women who were in the Armed Forces of the United States who served on active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States, were honorably discharged, or died in the line of duty are eligible for membership in the Auxiliary.
